Mauritius - Pearl of the Indian Ocean -
is located a mere 4 hour flight from South Africa. The
magical island of Mauritius will enchant you, uplift
your soul and will remain engraved in your memory
forever.
We have special
Mauritius holiday packages to suit your every
need. The warm climate and green-blue sea lapping at the
white sandy shoreline within the protective belt of
coral reef make for a tropical paradise with equally
friendly people whose hospitality is legendary. A
Mauritius Holiday is a perfect holiday!
Mauritius is a destination to be enjoyed year round.
The seasons can be divided broadly into a hot, wet
season, lasting from December to April, and a pleasantly
cool, dry season from May to November.
The cyclone
season usually occurs between January and March. This
brings a lot of rain to the region and if you wish to
visit the island during this period be prepared to spend
a few days indoors during extra heavy rains.
Whether you are looking for a idyllic and romantic
escape or a fun-filled family holiday, there are hotels
and resorts to cater for all your needs.
We offer
a range of accommodation ranging from the
budget-friendly 3-star hotels right up to your
ultra-luxurious 5-star resorts. The island is a popular
honeymoon destination and all the resorts offer special
packages to make guests honeymooning on the island feel
that extra bit special.

Water sports and fishing
The coastline of Mauritius is almost entirely
fringed by coral reefs and consequently the coastal
waters mainly lie in calm lagoons. Here guests can enjoy
a wide variety of different water sports - snorkelling,
peddle boats, sailing and water-skiing. Most resorts
have their own activities centre and professionally-run
dive centres. Mauritius is also also a paradise for
deep-sea fishing and fishing boats can be hires from
almost all hotels.
Golf
What could be better than holidaying on an idyllic
island and getting to improve on your golf skills at the
same time? Hotels such as Constance Belle Mare
Plage and Heritage Golf & Spa Resort offer guests
excellent championship 18-hole courses and there is also
the option to visit one of the other courses on the
island.
Shopping
The island’s
reputation as a shopping paradise is enhanced by the
diversity and quality of shopping opportunities. There
are a number of duty-free stores where one can purchase
jewellery, model ships, watches and perfume and the many
markets offer perfect opportunities to buy knitwear,
textiles, beadwork and basketwork. Don't forget to
purchase some vanilla tea and rum!
Sightseeing Tours
Visitors to the
island can choose from a variety of different land and
sea excursions. Visit Grand Bay and Centre du
Flacq where shopping is a real treat. There is
also the Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens, one of the
most visited attractions in Mauritius, where you can
view the famous giant Victorian Amazonica water lilies
and the coloured earths of Chamarel in the south are not
to be missed! Day tours allow visitors to learn about
the rich history as well as partake in adventure sports
like quadbiking at Valriche.
What could be more romantic than exchanging vows on a white sandy beach,
soothing waves gently lapping at your feet and palm trees gently swaying in the
background?
