All the rooms and suites open onto a terrace or balcony and have
air-conditioning and ceiling fans, a bathroom with separate bath and shower, a

The Villa is an amazing haven of comfort and serenity and has 2 rooms with
en-suite bathrooms, a child’s room and bathroom, a living room and a dining
room. To add to the perfection of this environment there is a private
swimming pool in which guests can enjoy a tropical swim and revel in the flaming
colours of the setting sun. Other services available in the Villa include CD and
DVD and there is a 24 hour butler service.
The 4 restaurants at Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort provide
a real fest for the taste-buds. Balafon, the main restaurant, is housed in three
pavillions surrounded by mirror-ponds and has a warm and refined ambience. The
chef at Balafon treats guests to a discovery of taste sensations with
traditional Mauritian cuisine as well as International dishes. His buffets for
breakfast and dinner (as an alternative to the table d’hôtes menu) consist of
miniature individual plates, allowing one to taste a full range of culinary
pleasures.
Guests wanting to dine with an endless view of the sea and
feet in the white beach sand should be sure to dine at Infinity Blue. The
restaurant has a Mediterranean menu with fish and seafood specialities.
For light meals at lunch, Amafrooty has a menu of salads and sandwiches which
are served poolside.
Nestled like a gourmet retreat at the centre of the main
restaurant pavillions is the gastronomic restaurant. This restaurant offers an
unique dining experience. Dinner guests must be at least 13 years old.
Le Chateau de Bel Ombre, the former colonial mansion, have
been converted into a restaurant just a stone's throw from the hotel. The
restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.
Seven Colours Energy Cuisine invites guests to enjoy a unique
culinary experience. The Seven Colours concept is based on being in tune with
your body, listening to its feelings and emotions in order to rediscover your
internal balance. This cuisine of the senses which explores a range of types of
cooking, products and textures, and is enhanced with essential oils or floral
waters (hydrolats), enhances your energy and leads to the discovery of new
culinary harmonies. A cuisine that is healthy, colourful and innovative.
There are also 3 bars at which guests can relax and enjoy an
exotic cocktail or nightcap. Zenzibar, the main bar, and its relaxing lounge is
open from 10h00 daily. Lion's Lounge and cigar bar has a jazzy ambiance and is
open 3 times a week from 18h30. The Blue Drift Bar, looking out over the lagoon
on the edge of the beach, is open daily from 10h00.

Attached to the Heritage Golf & Spa Resort hotel, the
magnificent 18 hole 'Golf du Château' golf course which covers 100 hectares, is
the masterpiece of architect Peter Matkovitch, of Peter Matkovich and Hayes the
world renowned South African architectural practice.
Situated between the mountains and the sea in an undulating landscape
interspersed with lakes, streams and tropical trees, the championship course
(Par 72) which is both technically challenging and varied, provides golfers with
unique possibilities for a game with exceptional moments and memories.
The numerous facilities at the 'Golf du Château' include a putting green, a
chipping green and a driving range. Golfers can enjoy both their game as well as
physical exercise and can opt for either a motorised golf buggy or take an
enjoyable stroll around the course. Golf carts and caddies are of course
provided for the golfers (with supplement) should they require them.
Two qualified professionals are responsible for the operations of the golf
course and can offer beginners lessons. Finally, there is a restaurant as well
as a bar, manned by courteous high quality staff to receive the players for a
moment of well earned relaxation after a good game.
For the younger guests
Veranda Resorts has developed its own concept of the mini
club to look after children from 3 (if potty trained) to 11 years old. The
Timomo Club has a kids club for children 3 to 11 years and there are also teen
activities for teenagers from 12 to 18 years. The club is open from 10h00 until
23h00 daily and a baby-sitting service is available at an additional charge.
Dedicated to treating both body
and spirit, the Seven Colours Spa, the
concept of Véranda Resorts, is an oasis of tranquillity, authentic
and refined. This unique spa village of cabins in ochre tints,
draped with gossamer veils balancing delicately on the refreshing
breezes. The African inspired décor surrounded by plants, water
features and cascades and exuberant blooms of island flowers.
The Seven Colours Spa with a floor area of 3,000m2 has 20 treatment
rooms, 7 massage rooms of which 3 are double, and 2 massage kiosks
on the beach, affusion showers, steam baths, a huge sauna with a
cold water pool, a pool with eddying currents, divans in kiosks
especially provided for relaxation, and one consulting room where
tailor-made treatment programmes can be discussed.
