is located on the West Coast, an hour’s drive from the International airport and
15 minutes from Casela Nature Park.
Accommodation

The 193 rooms and suites are laid out in a series of two or three-storey
pavilions, facing out to the sea and setting sun. All rooms have a balcony or
terrace, air-conditioning, fan, en-suite bathroom with separate shower and bath,
International direct dial telephone in room and bathroom, electronic safe, mini
bar, hairdryer, Flat Screen television with satellite channels, DVD player, loud
speakers in bathroom, shaver outlet (220V) and tea & coffee making facilities.
In addition there is also wireless Internet access and 24-hour room service.
Dining
The Hilton Mauritius Resort and Spa, offers four exciting
venues to enjoy a formidable range of cuisine. With a selection of four separate
Restaurants to choose from, you are assured wonderfully varied and expertly
prepared meals and snacks of the highest standards. One of the particularities
of the Hilton Mauritius Resort and Spa is its strong gastronomic concepts. The
theme restaurants are strongly stated through the changes in the setting, the
service as well as the cuisine.
La Pomme d' Amour is open for
buffet breakfast (07h30 - 11h00) and dinner daily. Here guests can dine on
Mauritian dishes and international fare as well as enjoy the theme evenings,
such as African and Chinese nights, and the romantic barefoot beach barbecues.
Ginger Thai is the a la carte indoor themed Thai restaurant offering a tempting
choice of spicy Thai noodles and seafood dishes for dinner. Cross a small wooden
bridge to discover the gourmet restaurant Melanzane. This restaurant is open for
dinner and offers refined seafood cuisine with flavours from Europe and the
Mediterranean. Set by the beach, overlooking the beautiful lagoon is Les
Coquillages, the hotels informal restaurant that is open for lunch daily. Enjoy
fruity cocktails, sizzling grills, sandwiches, pizzas and local dishes served
under little huts with your feet in the sand.
Located between the bar and the
beach is the the Aqua Bar, the hub of the resort. For a refreshing cocktail in
the shade, meeting friends or watching events and shows, this bar has a
fantastic and fun atmosphere. Sip a rum cocktail and watch the sun set over the
Indian Ocean at the Vista Bar. This bar, with magnificent views across the
lagoon is the perfect place to watch the daily torch lighting ceremony. Enjoy
the Sunset Hour with live pianist to accompany your aperitif every evening.

Leisure facilities and places of interest located near the
hotel include a casino and night club, Tamarina Golf Estate, undersea walk &

Black River Gorges National Park, Seven-coloured earth of Chamarel,
Pamplemousses Botantical Garden, Casela Nature & Leisure Park, Domaine du
Chasseur, L'Etoile and Le Saint Aubin tea factory & museum. Trips to all of the
above can be arranged at an extra cost.
For the younger guests
For those travelling with children, the resort offers a child
care centre called 'Ti Poussin Kids' Club'.
Everything is specially designed for the little ones: downsized
furniture, toilets, and bathroom. Children aged 4 to 12 years are offered
a programme of activities where, just as the adults, they do not have to perform
the same activities during all their stay. They can, at will, practise nautical
sports and games, prepare their own lunch with help from the Team & discover
activities that mix learning and fun.
There is also baby sitting service available on request with
supplement.
Spa and Wellness
The Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa
has a world-class spa where guests can enjoy a variety of different
treatments and massages. The hair salon is located within the Spa
and offers a full array of hair services carried out by
highly-trained professionals using the highest quality of products.
Hotel guests can make use of the fitness centre,
sauna & hammam at the Spa free of charge.
