closed for renovation work from 1 June 2010 until 30 September 2010.
Accommodation
The hotel has Comfort Rooms, Standard Rooms and Deluxe Rooms.
Room features include air-conditioning, furnished balcony or terrace, separate
toilet and shower, electronic safe, tea & coffee making facilities, direct
telephone, television with International channels, hairdryer and mini bar.
Comfort rooms enjoy views across the gardens while the Standard and Deluxe Rooms
have either a garden or pool view.
Dining
La Baie Restaurtant welcomes guests with its specialities of
local cuisine and guests can enjoy a meal at the poolside. The restaurant is
open for breakfast (07h30 - 10h00), lunch (12h00 - 15h00) and dinner (19h30 -
22h00) daily. The Marlin Cocktail Bar is open from 10h00 until midnight and
guests can enjoy a refreshing cocktail while enjoying the view overlooking Grand
Bay. Smart/casual dress is required in both the restaurant and bar from
18h00 onwards.

A daily live entertainment programme brings a touch of
enchantment to the tropical evenings. Shows can vary from theme dances (Sega/
Indian/ African.) to live music or DJs. For guests wanting to get married in
Mauritius, the Veranda Grand Baie offers wedding packages.
For the younger guests
Veranda Resorts has developed its own concept of the mini-club to
look after children from 3 (if potty trained) to 11 years old. This
concept is based around a character called
Timomo, a funny Mauritian
bird which looks like a green parrot with an orange beak.
Timomo goes off in search
of a treasure at the end of the rainbow.
This search takes him on a tour of the island where he meets his
friends at each of the Veranda Resorts hotels. Everyone helps him in
his quest only to discover that he already possesses the most
beautiful treasures in the world: generosity and friendship!
The mini-club is open daily from 09h00 until 20h00. A baby-sitting
service is available upon request at an additional cost.

The Seven Colours Spa
brand is a creation of the Veranda Resorts group on the island. In their
spa and wellbeing salons they offer treatments, cosmetics and associated
products designed specially for this brand.
The philosophy of the SEVEN
COLOURS is based on the interaction and balance of life-giving energies
and colours.
The Seven Colours Spa at the Veranda Grand Baie Hotel
& Spa has 4 massage parlours (including 2 double parlours), 1 manicure
and pedicure parlour, 1 Vichy shower (body treatments and hydro
massage), 1 hair salon and 1 massage kiosk overlooking the sea. Use of
the hammam and jacuzzi is free of charge for hotel guests.
The spa is open daily from 09h00 until 20h00 and
bookings are done at the Seven Colours reception.
