Accommodation
The hotel has 77 Standard room each with either a garden,
pool or sea view. Room features include a furnished balcony or terrace,
air-conditioning, individual safe, tea & coffee making facilities, mini bar,
direct telephone, television and hairdryer
Dining
The L'Hibiscus Restaurant, overlooking the pool, offers
an à la carte/buffet menu with allows guests to savour the island's delicious
cuisine. The restaurant is open for a buffet breakfast (07h30 - 10h00),
lunch (12h00 - 15h00) and dinner (19h00 - 22h00) daily. Smart casual dress is
required in the restaurant from 18h00 onwards. The Beach Restaurant and Bar
L'Horizon offers daily specials including grills, seafood meals and Mauritian
delicacies. This restaurant is open daily for lunch and 5 times a week for
dinner (weather permitting). The bar is open from 10h30 until 17h00 daily and
casual dress is accepted.
Activities & Facilities
Veranda
Palmar Beach offers a range of activities and facilities for guests
to enjoy while on holiday.
Free of charge: windsurfing, glass bottom boat, kayak,
pedal boat, snorkelling, sailing, 1 pool, long chairs and beach
umbrellas, beach volleyball, French bowling, billiards, 1
gymnasium, aqua gym, darts, indoor games and library.
With supplement: water skiing, dive centre, deep sea
fishing, kite surfing, catamaran and sailboat cruises, bicycle
and car rental and Internet kiosk.
A daily live entertainment brings a touch of
enchantment to the tropical evenings. Shows can vary from theme
dances (Sega/ Indian/ African.) to live music or DJs. For guests
wanting to get married in Mauritius, the Veranda Palmar Beach
offers wedding packages.
For the younger guests
Veranda Resorts has developed its own concept of the
mini-club to look after children from 3 to 11 years old. This concept is based
around a character called Timomo, a funny Mauritian bird which looks like a
green parrot with an orange beak. Timomo goes off in search of a treasure at the
end of the rainbow.
This search takes him on a tour of the island where he meets his friends at each
of the Veranda Resorts hotels. Everyone helps him in his quest only to discover
that he already possesses the most beautiful treasures in the world: generosity
and friendship!
The mini-club is open daily from 08h30 until 16h00. A baby-sitting service
is available upon request at an extra cost.
Spa and Wellness
The Seven Colours Spa brand is a creation of the Veranda
Resorts group on the island. In their spa and wellbeing
salons they offer treatments, cosmetics and associated
products designed specially for this brand.

life-giving energies and colours.
The Seven Colours Spa at the Veranda
Palmar Beach has 2 massage treatment rooms and use of
the sauna is free of charge for hotel guests.
The spa is open daily from 09h00
until 20h00 and bookings are done at the Seven Colours
reception.
