Located in the heart of Maputo, in front of the Old Cathedral, the
Pestana Rovuma Hotel is a modern and unique city hotel that combines comfort
with an African atmosphere, and the ideal meeting point for social and
business ventures. The mini shopping centre situated on the ground floor
offers a variety of shops and services.
The hotel has a total of 117 rooms: 6 Luxury Suites,
26 Executive Suites, 33 Executive Rooms and 52 Standard Rooms. All rooms are
equipped with air-conditioning, satellite television, direct dial telephone,
safety deposit box, private bathroom and hairdryer. Some of the rooms also
offer balcony, kitchenette, mini bar and Internet connection.
The main restaurant is the Monomotapa, named after a royal
warrior from the Gaza Province, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
There is both a buffet and a la carte service available. The Saseka Cocktail
Bar is located on the second floor as is the Pool Deck, Djambu. The Mafuta
Bakery, next to the Bula Bula Coffee Shop, is on the ground floor.
There is a swimming pool, fitness equipment and a steam room
for guests' use. Depending on the length of stay the hotel can arrange golf,
tennis, squash, flying lessons and skydiving courses at an additional cost.
