Critchley Hackle offers a choice of
accommodation options, from Deluxe Suites, Lakeside Superior,
Lakeside Tower and Cottages, all built in natural sandstone and
capturing the rustic charm of turn-of-the-century architecture.
Surrounded by country gardens, Critchley's private lake forms
the ideal centrepiece for views from most of the lodges and
brings fly fishing virtually to your front door. A total of 23
lodges cater for 58 guests and are conveniently priced to suite
couples, families and groups.
Cottages:
Four Garden Cottages are set slightly back from the
lakeside and surrounded by country gardens. Each cottage is
uniquely themed and range from two-sleeper to four-sleeper
units, en-suite bathrooms, bedroom and living areas all
offer fireplaces to ensure a warm and cosy stay. Ideal for
families and groups who prefer sharing.
Lakeside Tower:
Situated along the north western lake frontage, the Tower
comprises three separate rooms which are adjoined by a
common entrance. Each room offers two-sleeper, en-suite
bathroom, bedroom and living areas. A private veranda
frontage allows access to the lake side. Fireplaces and
uniquely decorated rooms offer ideal lodging for couples or
groups who prefer to stay in close proximity.
Lakeside Superior:
Situated on the western lake frontage, our Lakeside Superior
rooms all cater to guests sleeping two, with en-suite
bathroom, living and bedroom area. Uninterrupted lake views
with a private veranda frontage onto the grassy banks, each
room is decoratively themed in its own unique style, with a
fireplace to ensure a warm and cosy stay.

Suites: Nestled on the water's edge, the Deluxe
Suites cater perfectly for larger groups and families.
Sleeping 4, the Suite offers all the comfort and convenience
of separate sleeping and living areas, one downstairs main
bedroom with en-suite bathroom and one bedroom upstairs.

giving spectacular views.

Critchley Restaurant combines contemporary cuisine with a
few traditional favorites and is set on the water's edge
overlooking Critchley's private lake, ensuring that guests
enjoy a warm and tranquil dining atmosphere - the perfect
place to enjoy some of Dullstroom's finest gastronomic fair
with friends and family. A sumptuous assortment
of fusion cuisine, as well as a few of traditional
favourite dishes awaits you. The menu caters to lovers of
