Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
Located in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
A masterpiece of thatch and wood, intricately designed around
the indigenous trees, Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
creates a large open plan tree house from which to watch game and take in the
breathtaking African bush. The lodge is situated adjacent to the
Zambezi National Park, approximately 3km from Victoria Falls Town Centre and 5km
from the Zambian Border.
Seventy two African influenced, en-suite bedrooms with private viewing decks
have been written about extensively in international publications. There are 72
rooms accommodating a total of 144 guests: 45 twin rooms, 15 standard double
rooms, 1 standard twin room catering for the disabled with an inter-leading wide
access door to a double room, 5 deluxe double rooms (larger with mini bars), 6
split level suites (all with king size bed).
All rooms are decorated in natural fabrics
and have an African theme. Rooms have remote controlled air-conditioning and
ceiling fans, wood and glass concertina shutters and doors which open onto a
private balcony with views overlooking the on-site waterhole or bushveld,
complimentary tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryers, mosquito nets and
pads, room safes, direct dial telephones, bathroom with luxury bath and separate
shower with massaging jets as well as an extensive range of customised
toiletries including insect repellent and sun block.
All beds are extra length and cots are available on request. Rooms can not
accommodate a third bed.
The duplex style suites have a sunken
lounge leading onto a private balcony with views overlooking the waterhole as
well as the National Park. There is an open staircase leading up to the bedroom
and en-suite bathroom. The raised bathroom has a large luxury bath and separate
shower cubicle with massaging jets, towelling bathrobes and guest amenities.
There is remote controlled air-conditioning and ceiling fans in both the bedroom
and lounge. Suites have a fully-stocked mini bar and there is also a guest
cloakroom/toilet.

Makuwa-kuwa Restaurant: A restful, split level restaurant with
views overlooking the waterhole, offering a fixed price menu with an a la carte
choice of dishes
The Boma - Place of Eating:
Set in the nearby Gusu forest, just 500 metres from the Safari Lodge. The Boma
offers a unique African experience including traditional dancers, a lively
interactive drumming show and mouth watering local dishes.

There is a Conference Centre that
can accommodate a maximum of 200 delegates in an open air amphitheatre, the
Indaba Conference room (120 Cinema style, 75 Banquet style and 35 U-shape).
There is a fully equipped bar and kitchen available. The hotel also has a
Boardroom available for smaller meetings and there are 3 breakaway rooms.
Standard equipment available includes projectors, flip charts, PA systems and
screens.
The hotel offers a complimentary
shuttle service, which stops in town, the craft market and the Falls, departing
hourly from 08h45 until 21h45.
