Full Day excursion Museum, Citadel & Bazaars (Cairo)
Around 8.30am, our guide meets the clients at the hotel. Drive for about
10/15 minutes to reach the Museum. Two hours guided tour around the
richest museum worldwide, whereby the Masterpiece of King Tut's Mask in
gold is kept at THE EGYPTIAN MUSEUM. Drive about 20 minutes to reach the
Citadel, which is one of the Landmarks of Cairo. It was constructed by
Salah El Din in 1183 A.D. One and half hour will be spent to visit the
different parts of the citadel including the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed
Ali which is the highlight of the tour. 10 Minutes drive to the most
famous Bazaars of Khan El Khalili at the Old Cairo where the client will
be free for one hour to explore the area & to collect the Islamic &
pharaonic gifts and his preferable brassware. Around 15.00pm drive back
to the hotel.
Full Day visit Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Citadel (Cairo)
Giza Pyramids is one the west bank of the Nile facing Cairo & on top of
Giza plateau rise the three pyramids & it is one of the seven wonders of
the world surrounded by small Pyramids & hundred of Mastabas & tombs for
kings & nobles. The Ancient Egyptian built the Pyramids to be tombs to
preserve the bodies of their dead kings. The great pyramid is the most
famous structure in the world which was built by king Cheops around 2650
B.C. Its height now is 137m & almost 2.5 million blocks of stone were
put into building this pyramid.
Close to the eastern flank of the pyramid of Cheops lie three small
pyramid dedicated either to his wives or family members. The second
Pyramid is built by Kephren, south-west of his father pyramid though
lower height: 136m. The base, it measures 215.5m square. The third
Pyramid is built by Mycerinus (Mankaure), south-west of the great second
pyramid. It is much smaller than either (62m). It is distinguished by
the fact that the lower part of its sides still retain
their granite slab coverings.
Half Day visit old Cairo Churches & Coptic Museum (Cairo)
A place of visit forced in Cairo is undoubtedly the Coptic Museum, which
possesses a fantastic collection of Coptic art of the Christian epoch,
between the years 300 and 1000 of our age. Fabrics, pieces of
architecture, objects of ivory, icons, papyruses, ceramics, glass, wood,
metals and paintings constitute a part of his exhibition, and the rooms
in which he is are also of an admirable beauty. The Church of Virgin
Santa Maria, known as the Hanging Church, is one of the oldest in Egypt
and the Coptic monument is the most visited in the Egyptian capital. To
this orthodox church one is called it A Hanging Church for being placed
on one of the doors of the Fortress of
Babylonia, a Roman fortress. Another important church is it To The
Zaitun it was used by the Holy Family fleeing of the King Herod.
