preserved nature of Bel Ombre, is an authentic paradise perfectly integrated

Accommodation
With 160 spacious rooms, 20 suites and 1 villa, all facing the
Indian Ocean, the resort provides the ideal setting for a relaxing stay at any
time of the year. The rooms and suites are divided into 7 categories: Deluxe
Room, Deluxe Family Rooms, Club Room, Club Family Room, Junior Suite, Senior
Suite and the 2 bedroom Villa.
The Club Room as well as all Suites are located just a few steps
from the white sand beach while the Deluxe rooms are spread throughout the
gardens. All rooms are of a classical style with wood or palm-thatched roofs and
either a terrace or balcony overlooking the ocean. The Villa opens its 275 m2 on
the lagoon, just a few steps from the white sand beach. Its 2 bedrooms and
private swimming pool will delight the most independent of guests as well as
large families by joining 2 extra Club rooms and becoming a 4 bedroom 360
m2 villa.
For travellers looking for additional comfort, the club lounge
concept offers something special. Added inclusions for guests staying in these
Club rooms include an open bar from 10h30 until 18h00, free Internet access,
private swimming pool, entrance to the Spa for free use of steam baths, saunas,
whirlpool, hydro massage corridor and solarium.
Families are also not forgotten with special rooms offering a
separate children's room, popular with parents who with to preserve their
intimacy as well as keep the children close by.
Dining
There are 3 restaurants and 1 bar:
Le Moulin (06h30 - 10h30 and 19h00-23h00) is inspired of old sugar mill and
guests may enjoy sumptuous buffet breakfast where a large choice of
tropical fruits is combined with warm dishes including delicious fresh homemade
waffles and pancakes. In the evening, the atmosphere is transformed into
something more intimate with different theme buffet several times a
week.
Le Camaron (12h00 - 16h00), serves light dishes, fresh fish and
seafood on the beach. From time to time, the Chef organizes spectacular beach
barbecue dinners in a relaxing atmosphere.
La Grand Caze (19h00 - 22h30), meaning the plantation owner’s house in Creole,
has given its name to the gourmet restaurant which takes place in a very elegant
colonial house. Innovative food created with a selection of the finest local
ingredients associated with all the flavors of Mauritius offers a unique dining
experience.
Le Flangourin Bar is open from 10:00am to midnight and 24-hour
room service is available with a tray charge.
Activities & Facilities
Free of charge: Water skiing, glass bottom boat, snorkelling,
kayak, windsurfing, paddle boat, mini sail, 3 swimming pools (main pool, garden
pool, children's pool), 2 tennis courts, Bocci Balls area, volley ball, aqua
gym, putting golf, ping pong, pottery. Equipment can be lent whereas tennis
balls have to be bought at the hotel’s sport shop, unless clients have brought
their own.
With supplement: Scuba diving (PADI), mountain bikes hire,
electronic games, billiards and 18 hole course at Golf du Château (10 min
transfer from the hotel).
For the younger guests
A programme with a wide choice of activities depending of the
age of children is proposed to our youngest clients. An experienced and
professional team is in charge of children aged 3 to 11. Children under 3 years
are also welcomed if accompanied by an adult (parents or babysitter). Baby
sitting is also available on request at a nominal fee.
The Kid's Club is open year round from 10h00 to 22h00
Spa and Wellness
The Aldana Spa, nestled in the heart of a beautiful garden and a
huge aquarium where multicolour fish wave gracefully, prides itself with its 4
individual massage pavilions, 2 double massage pavilions including 1 VIP Suite
with private entrance and changing room.
Hydros massing corridor and shower, 2 Turkish bath, 2 saunas, Whirlpool
complete the wide choice of massages available. Also at clients’ disposal
are large rest rooms with large relaxing armchairs or a Solarium on top of the
tower with its secluded pool offering a breathtaking view: from the lagoon on
one side contrasting with the hills covered with lavish undergrowth on the
other.
All these facilities are complimentary on the day when a spa treatment is
reserved and used.
On the other hand, clients staying in a Deluxe category, have to pay an entrance
fee to have access to the Spa if they do not wish to book a treatment, while
clients staying in Club rooms, Suite or Villa category, benefit from a
complimentary and unlimited access (excluding spa treatments) to these extra
facilities during their entire stay. In addition to these facilities,
clients will also find a beauty salon as well as a hairdressing salon.
