Enjoy the elegant simplicity of Tamarin Hotel, Golf, Beach and Spa, a
unique 4-star boutique hotel of 50 rooms located between the mountains
and the turquoise waters on the West coast of Mauritius. Make the most
of their all-inclusive golf package, relax at the spa or on the
beautiful beach at Tamarin Bay.
The hotel has 50 Deluxe Rooms each with air-conditioning with twin or
king size bed, LCD Flat screen 32" TV with satellite channels, mini bar,
private safe, bathroom (shower and separate toilet), with hairdryer,
Internet connection, Ipod connection on LED TV. Rooms are 34sqm and have
either a terrace or balcony of 5sqm.
At the hotel:
La Madrague - overlooking Tamarin Bay and situated around the infinity
pool, this restaurant is open from sunrise to sunset. La Madrague is
open every day for breakfast (07h00 - 10h30), lunch (12h00 - 14h30),
snacks (14h30 - 17h00) and dinner (19h30 - 2200). Dinners are either
theme buffets or a la carte. The restaurant offers International cuisine
with a Creole accent.
La Plage - located around the beach pool, near the lime kiln and by the
sea, the restaurant is open all day serving light meals. As the sun
sets, La Plage turns into an exclusive and elegant place where, with
supplement, you can enjoy grilled lobster, fish or gambas under the
stars, while listening to the sound of the waves gently lapping at the
shoreline. La Plage is closed on Sunday nights.
Le Bar - In the shade of a centenarian Badamier on a deck overlooking
the bay, Le Bar is open from 10h00 until late at night. When the sun
goes down, Le Bar extends on the sand deck, where you are enjoy various
cocktails and beverages, lying on long chairs or seated in one of the
armchairs facing the ocean.
On the golf course:
Le Dix-Neuf - restaurant and bar at the Tamarina Golf course, overlooks
the 18th hole, river and Tamarin Bay, serves light meals and snacks. The
bar is open from 07h00 until 18h00 and the restaurant from 11h00 until
17h00.
At Casela:
Casela Restaurant - With an exceptional view of Tamarin Mountain and the
sugarcane fields, the restaurant serves typical Mauritian dishes and
snacks. The bar is open from 09h00 until 17h00 and the restaurant from
11h00 until 15h00.
Free of charge from the hotel: unlimited green fees, 1 massage of 45
minutes per stay for golfers, 1 massage/treatment per day (excluding day
of arrival and departure) for non-golfers, unlimited entrance to Casela
Park, tennis during the day and glass bottom boat trip.s
Golf: Designed by Rodney Wright, Tamarina 18-hole championship golf
course is a Par 72 challenging course over 43 hectares of rugged
savannah land framed with mature trees, crossed by the Rempart river.
Le Spa, located next to the reception area, is open everyday from 09h00
until 20h00. It has 4 single massage rooms and 2 double rooms, one of
which has a patio. The spa offers a range of different massages and
treatments ranging from reflexology to aromatherapy and more.
