| About the Lodge: |
Set on the banks of the Klaserie river which flows
throughout the year, the seven luxury tents and five exclusive
chalets that make up Kapama Karula - the place of peace - are in
every way true to their name. The river glides smoothly forming
sparkling pools that attract smaller riverine animals and a
myriad of birds in every season.
The lodge facilities include a lounge and dining area with fine
dining, 2 bars and a designer wine cellar, gym, Spa, swimming
pool, sauna and outdoor patios. Dawn and dusk safaris are in
open game viewing vehicles with experienced ranger and tracker. |
| Number of rooms or
chalets: |
7 Luxury Tents, 4 Luxury Chalets and 1 Family Chalet.
All rooms feature king size bed, en-suite bathroom, outdoor
shower, tea and coffee making facilities, air-conditioning, mini
bar fridge, mini safe and deck.
In addition the luxury chalets also feature indoor as well as
outdoor showers and a lounge area.
The Family Chalet has a second bedroom (with a common unit
entrance) which can accommodate two children. |
| Children Policy: |
Children are welcome at Kapama Karula Lodge.
Children under the age of 12 years, sharing with 2 adults in a
chalet, pay 50% of the adult sharing rate.
Children over the age of 12 are considered adults and are
accommodated in their own rooms.
All children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a
responsible adult during game drives and bush walks.
Children will be permitted on game drives and walks at the sole
descretion of the ranger. |

Unless otherwise indicated, rates include accommodation, all
meals, teas and snacks, two daily safari activities and return
transfer from Eastgate (HDS) Airport. |
