| About the lodge: |
The entire lodge lies in an exclusive use zone in the
south-western portion of the 55 000 ha, Big 5 Pilanesberg Game
Reserve. It offers exclusive traversing as well as access to all
the Park's public roads. The lodge also lies adjacent to the
Wilderness area, offering the opportunity of walking trails in
this untouched environment. On arriving at the private entrance
gate, you will park your vehicle in a secure guest parking, and
then proceed by game viewing vehicle to the lodge. The
magnificent main lodge provides all the necessary facilities and
amenities, including a restaurant, bar, wine cellar, lounge,
swimming pool and deck, and a boma. This provides a central
gathering point and social environment for all guests at the
lodge. It is here that all the main amenities are offered and it
is from here that all activities depart and return. |

The Standard Suites offer a luxurious bedroom with en-suite
bathroom.
The Family Suites offer two en-suite bedrooms with a shared
lounge and patio. The family suites can also be configured in
such a way as to offer an Executive Suite option as well as a
Standard Suite option. The Executive Suites offer one en-suite
master bedroom with a lounge and patio. In addition guests can
savour an indoor steam shower and double outdoor shower. The
placement and design of each suite ensures privacy and
uninterrupted views. Each suite offers the highest quality
equipment with plasma screen TV, satellite TV and a mini
business centre. |
| Children Policy: |
Children of all ages are welcome at Shepherds Tree Game
Lodge.
Children under the age of 12 years are permitted on safari at
the sole descretion of the manager or guide.
Children under the age of 6 years are not permitted on safari,
and where possible, a kiddies safari will be arranged between
normal safari times.
Baby-sitting can be arranged at the lodge at an additional
charge.
50% of the per person sharing rate when sharing with 2 adults
will apply for children. |
| Gate Fees: |
Mandatory Conservation Levy of R100.00 per guest per day
payable direct at the lodge. |

Unless otherwise indicated rates include all meals, teas and
snacks and two daily safari activities. |
