There are 8 elegant Classic Rooms, all overlooking the hotel's
lush, tranquil gardens. 17 Classic Sea-facing rooms
offer a balcony that open onto views of Umhlanga's iconic
lighthouse and breaktaking coastline. Luxury Sea-facing
rooms offer a balcony with seaview and all bathrooms have a
double vanity and spacious separate shower. Sea Facing Cabanas
offer king-sized four-poster beds, all on the lower ground
level, boasting an individual spacious balcony terrace with
exceptional views. Sea-facing Family Suites comprise of a
Master bedroom and a separate single room or loft for the
smaller members of the family. Sea-facing Luxury Suites are
individually decorated comprise one well-appointed bedroom with
a luxurious separate lounge. Sea-facing Deluxe Suites offer a
well-appointed bedroom and separate lounge. These Deluxe Suites
are located on the lower ground level, with their own private
plunge pool and terrace. Each Superior Garden Villa has a
private plunge pool, terrace, lounge and bar and can be
converted into a two-bedroom Villa when inter-connecting with
one of the Garden Villa Lofts. Each of the Garden Villa Lofts
has a king-sized four-poster bed and can convert into a
two-bedroomed Villa when inter-connecting with one of the Garden
Villas. The spacious and stylish Presidential Suite is
divided over two levels and has a private lift. The grand
master bedroom has a comfortable seating area and intimate
personal study. There are two marble bathrooms, one with
unparalleled sea views. Other features include a private
rim-flow swimming pool, a lounge and dining room (seating for 10
people), a bar and a well-appointed kitchen. There is also an
inter-connecting bedroom catering for an additional two persons.
The Grill Room, with the adjoining Colony Restaurant, is famous

The Ocean Terrace, with a Tandoori and pizza oven, offers Indian
cuisine, as well as a European-inspired South African fare for
