This is a fun-filled resort hotel aimed unashamedly at the tourist who wants to
take in the majesty and excitement of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the
World as well as enjoy a holiday adventure as part of a group, with someone
special, with the children, or as a single traveller. Complete with its
own food court offering a wide choice of relaxing or quick meals, suiting all
ages, The Kingdom at Victoria Falls also offers three swimming pools and
a toddlers pool, a children’s play area and, for the ladies, planning a “night
on the town” or a visit to the resort’s own casino, a spa and beauty parlour.
Stunning architecture, which echoes the Victoria Falls but draws on the ancient
Kingdom of Munhumutapa, with great domes, pillars, and bridges over the many
water features, belies the fact that the resort is run on very traditional
African Sun lines, with no compromises on the highest levels of products and
guest service.
One of only two ISO-accredited hotels in Zimbabwe (the other being its sister,
The Victoria Falls Hotel), its fun-filled atmosphere gives guests a unique blend
of African tradition and Western ideas.
Built around a man made lake the 294 rooms are beautifully
decorated in deep browns and beiges, with natural wood furnishings these rooms
are a warm haven. The Kingdom at Victoria Falls offers a wide range of room
types to select including twin rooms, double rooms, family rooms and suites. The
bedrooms have tiled floors and bathrooms have both a shower and bath.
With a large number of family rooms that include bunk beds,
this is a truly children friendly hotel. Rooms with balconies have attractive
views of the surrounding lakes and water features, whilst from all the rooms in
the hotel guests can wake up to the soothing rumble of the mighty Victoria Falls
in the near distance.
All rooms are fully air-conditioned with heaters, a personal
safe and a wide selection of satellite television channels. Paraplegic
rooms are available for disabled guests. These rooms are easily accessible as
are all public areas in the hotel.

There is an exciting range of dining options open to
guests at The Kingdom at Victoria Falls. The hotel has been designed to
cater for the diverse tastes of its clientele and this ensures that during
your stay all your meals can be diverse, exciting and simple delicious!
Many of the restaurants and bars are located in The Great Enclosure
entertainment centre which is conveniently situated on-site. For the ease of
our guests, bills from the various restaurants can all be settled on one
account.
Whitewaters Restaurant:
This is the main hotel restaurant, a large open room with towering ceilings
and domes surrounded by striking water features. With live traditional
dancers and singers performing at each dinner, this is a truly authentic
African experience you want to experience. The Whitewaters Restaurant has a
maximum seating capacity of 250 pax.
Thundercloud Spur: This Red Indian themed steak house, decorated
in deep reds and gold’s is a place to remember. Its open barbeque fires
create a warm and tantalising memory. The restaurant is very child friendly
and has an exciting kids menu. The Thundercloud Spur is a family steakhouse
restaurant and has a maximum capacity of 325 pax.
Panarottis: This is by far the most popular pizzeria in the
Victoria Falls area. Panarottis has a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy a
familiar lunch or dinner. Its unpretentious décor accompanied by its warm
and courteous staff make it an easy choice for a comfortable dinner.
Panarottis is an Italian trattoria-style restaurant serving pizza and pastas
and more. The maximum seating capacity is 150 pax.
24 hour room service: All guests have access to an extensive
choice of snacks and meals from the room service menu. Our staff is
dedicated to meeting any special requirements and will make every effort to
supply meals that may not be on the menu at the current time you order.
Rapids Pool Bar and Restaurant: Located at the
poolside this is the favourite spot for a laid back lunch and cocktail. The
lunch menu comprises a range of sandwiches, burgers, pastas and many more meal
options. You can opt to have your meal under the thatched gazebo or lounging on
the pool chairs, children are most welcome.
Quartermains Bar: This sports bar is classily decorated in a
traditional Victorian style with large leather couches, old gramophones and
saddles adding a reminiscent touch of the 18th century. With large television
sets this bar is ideal for a relaxed night of sports or simply a late night of
casual conversation.
Wild Thing Action bar: This is a vibrant bar and nightclub, popular
with all visitors to Victoria Falls. It features contemporary disco music and
the atmosphere is one of loud music, good clean fun and plenty of dancing.
The Pit: Located in the casino this bar picks up the vibrant buzzing
atmosphere of the casino. With the sound of slot machines and the flicker of
alluring lights in the background it is a delightful place to enjoy a drink.
The Kingdom at Victoria Falls is abundant in entertainment,
dining and shopping options. Included in the Great Enclosure is the casino,
pharmacy, reserve bank outlet and children’s play area. The hotel also has a spa
and hair salon, and a deluxe swimming pool with a toddler’s pool. The
hotel has a modern and elegantly decorated conferencing centre that comprises
four rooms of various sizes.

The Kingdom at Victoria Falls is
situated within the Victoria Falls National Park, a World Heritage Site, and the
Zambezi National Park with its many attractions including elephant riding and
game viewing is nearby.
Bungee jumping from the famous Victoria Falls Bridge, as well as the Flight of
the Angels (an aerial look at the Victoria Falls) white-water (white knuckle as
well) rafting and sundowner cruises on the Zambezi River can all be arranged by
the hotel staff.
The famous statue of the first white man to see the Victoria Falls, David
Livingstone, is only a short walk from the Kingdom Hotel Zimbabwe.
Safari Health and Beauty Spa:
This beauty spa is medium sized with an adjoining hair salon. The spa has
two massage rooms and the hair salon has four work stations. Both the spa
and hair salon are decorated in a clean and modern design with tiled floors.
The Spa specialises in Clarins facial and beauty products and these products
can be purchased by our guests. All staff are qualified beauticians offering
a range of treatments from massages, facials, pedicures and manicures. The
hair salon specialises in basic hair cuts, styling and treatments for all
types of hair. Guests are encouraged to make appointments at least 24 hours
beforehand to ensure they can be accommodated at their preferred time.
