Preskil Beach Resort is ideally situated on a private
peninsula along the South East Coast of Mauritius at Pointe Jerome, nearby the
historical village of Mahebourg and a mere 15 minutes drive from the airport. Of
typical Creole architecture, the resort is truly a haven of peace set in a
luxuriant tropical garden overlooking idyllic white sandy beaches. The resort
borders a lagoon of crystal clear blue waters which leads to the Marine Park of
Blue Bay and offers panoramic views over I'lle aux Aigrettes.
Standard rooms with garden views and Lagoon rooms with sea
views are spread out harmoniously into one-storey building lots across the
peninsula. The Prestige Cottages and Deluxe Penthouses are located in colonial
style cottages offering breathtaking views over the lagoon, the Lion Mountain
and the outer islands.
All rooms lead onto a balcony or terrace and are equipped
with air-conditioning, television (International satellite channels), direct
dial telephone, WiFi, mini bar, electronic safe, hair dryer and complimentary
tea & coffee making facilities.
Spices is the half-board restaurant open for breakfast (07h00
- 10h30) and dinner (19h00 - 22h30). In the evenings Spices Restaurant offers
sumptuous buffets comprising of International dishes as well as local exotic
cuisine.
Charka Steak House & Grill is open for dinner (19h00 -
22h30). This a la carte restaurant is a must during a stay at Preskil Beach
Resort! With its African concept and influence, Charka proposes a large
selection of meats imported from South Africa. A nominal fee is applicable for
guests booked on a half-board package.
Tapas Grill and Beach Bar, ideally located on the beachfront,
is an option for lunch or dinner. Enjoy sunshine cuisine with a choice of
light meals for lunch. A la carte dinner (with supplement) is available
for evening meals.
Indigo Bar is the lively meeting place. Guests can enjoy a
selection of International and exotic cocktails as well as light meals during
the day. In the evening the bar is the ideal setting to enjoy a warm and musical
atmosphere.
There is also a beach service serving seasonal fruit skewers,
mini pizzas, cocktails and drink. A sunglasses cleaning services as well as
atomizers are available.
In-room dining is available 24 hours (tray charge applicable)
and there is a mini-bar in each room offering a range of drinks and snacks.
The hotel offers a wide range of land and water sports.
Free of charge: Water-skiing, windsurfing, glass bottom boat
(Ile aux Aigrettes), canoe, pedal boat, snorkelling, aqua gym, gymnasium, 2
swimming pools with one inter-grated whirlpool and children's pool, 2 floodlit
tennis courts, beach volleyball, bocci ball, sail boats and table tennis.
With supplement: Dive centre (PADI and CMAS), deep sea
fishing, catamaran cruises to I'lle aux Cerfs, local sailing boat cruise, glass
bottom boat trip to Blue Bay Marine Park, hobie cat, under sea walk, bicycle and
scooter rental, car hire and excursions.
Preskil Beach is the ideal place for successful events,
celebrations and meetings. All banquet rooms are fully air-conditioned.
Technical equipment such as screens, flipcharts, data/video projects. WiFi and
so forth are available on request with a supplement.
For all early arrivals and late departures, changing rooms
with showers are available as well as luggage storage facilities.
The mini-club has qualified hostesses who entertain children
aged between 3 and 11 years. Their meals can be served earlier in the main
restaurant for the greater enjoyment of both parents and children.
